At Stock the House, we want to take everything you need while vacationing and put it on your phone.  At least, that’s the vision of its President and CEO, Domenica Mastroianni.

Domenica and her husband, Jim, came up with the idea after their second child was born.  That next summer vacation proved to be an exhausting one and they were ready to give up on vacation planning altogether.  Then, she had the idea to delegate the work but had a hard time finding someone that could offer everything she needed, in every town she needed it.  “In our family, we believe that experiences are far more valuable than things.  So, we love the idea of bringing our kids on adventures and traveling to places that are unique or different from where we live.”  Only the stress that came with family travel seemed too overwhelming at times.  “For almost 3 years, we limited our travel to a 3-hour car ride.  Any further than that would induce anxiety thanks to the planning, coordination, and all of the things that come with staying in a home that isn’t yours.”

After struggling to find what she was looking for, she decided to create her own.  Stock the House became a reality in 2017 and the company continues to grow.

We are passionate about creating wonderful vacation experiences for families and friends.  We’ve tried to create a network that covers almost everything.  “But, even if we don’t have what you need listed on the site, we do everything we can to figure out how to get it.  Think of it as your personal assistant who specializes in all things vacation, all from the convenience of your computer or mobile device.

Domenica Mastroianni

President & CEO

Domenica takes organization to a new level.  She is known as the consummate “party planner” to her friends and family.  However, she prefers to relinquish this title while on vacation!  Domenica and Jim have 2 children, ages 4 and 7 and currently live in the Lower East Side of New York City. Domenica has almost 20 years of experience in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in a variety of areas including marketing strategy, sales training, communication and PR, portfolio management, leading cross-functional teams, and crisis management.  Between 2011 and 2017, she successfully launched 4 products and managed multiple products worth hundreds of millions of dollars.  In 2016, she was awarded “Marketer of the Year” for the General Medicines U.S. group of her company and the distinguished “CEO Award”, which is a global honor.  Domenica developed the first social media platform for her company and was considered one of the company’s rising stars before leaving to start Stock the House. Domenica has a MSW from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.

Jim Mastroianni

Stock the House was founded, in part, from Jim’s desire to jump right into his vacations!  He is passionate about skiing, and seeks to visit all of our winter towns in the name of “research”.   He also enjoys biking, surfing, and just spending time with Domenica and the kids. Jim has almost 20 years of experience in advising companies.  He is a principal in the Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Group in the New York office of PWC.  Jim has been with PWC since 2004, with experience that includes tax structuring and due diligence work for domestic and cross-border M&A transactions for both private equity and strategic buyers.  Prior to joining PWC, Jim spent several years working as a tax attorney at a major law firm in Philadelphia.  He has an LL.M in Taxation from New York University, a J.D. from Villanova University, and a B.S. in finance from Boston College.  Jim is a member of the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

To say that Kevin is passionate about vacationing is an understatement!  He’s the only one on the team who has literally traveled around the world (heading west from New York and continuing west until he and his wife arrived back a few months later).
